Shahid Khan Delivers University Commencement Address
Longtime AHS supporter Shahid Khan, owner of Flex-N-Gate, delivered this year’s commencement addresses at two campus-wide ceremonies on May 12. Read more about his remarks.
Laurence Chalip Is First Brightbill/Sapora Professor
Dr. Laurence Chalip, Head of the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism, was named the first Brightbill/Sapora Professor in the College of Applied Health Sciences in a ceremony held on January 18. Read about Dr. Chalip.

Third Khan Professor Named
Dr. Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko became the third Shahid and Ann Carlson Khan Professor in Applied Health Sciences in a ceremony held on February 15. Dr. Chodzko-Zajko is the Head of the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health. Read about Dr. Chodzko-Zajko.

Tanya Gallagher Honored as First Nugent Professor
Dr. Tanya Gallagher, Dean of the College of Applied Health Sciences, was named the first Timothy J. Nugent Professor in Rehabilitation Research in a ceremony held on May 6. Read about Dr. Gallagher.

Andiara Schwingel Receives Hill Award
Andiara Schwingel, Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health, received the 2013 Phyllis Hill Award for Exemplary Mentoring in the Edmund J. James Scholar Program. Read about Dr. Schwingel.
