Moms Learn about Service Dog Program
This year's Mom's Day event, which took place on April 9th, was a smashing success. Held for the first
time at the Activities and Recreation Center, the event drew a large crowd of students and their moms
(and sometimes dads!). Among the featured presentations was a reading by poet extraordinaire
and Community Health student Jazmine McKinney and a demonstration by the Illini Service Dog Training Program,
spearheaded by Community Health student Bridget Evans.
