Kinesiology student Stephanie Chirillo discussed her research on the relationship between protein-energy malnutrition and
physical function, bone health, and quality of life among dialysis patients. Stephanie described the Undergraduate Research Symposium as a
"great learning experience." "An oral presentation on wordy, scientific material was completely new to me," she said. "The research symposium
forced me to simplify the content and to make it comprehensible to a diverse audience, which was a challenge I overcame."
